Santa reading next to the fire
My dear [First name],
The last few days have been very cold here at the North Pole. I don’t mind at all because it means that it’s the festive season. And, after all, that is my favourite time of the year.
When it’s this cold, there is nothing better than enjoying a mug of hot chocolate in front of the fireplace. Mrs Claus makes the best hot chocolate. I must say, I’ve had some pretty good hot chocolate in [HomeTown] too, but please don’t tell Mrs Claus I said that. Ah, drinking hot chocolate is a wonderful thing, don’t you think?
On cold days, it’s also wonderful to respond to letters. Did you know that I receive letters from all over the world? Can you believe that I sometimes even get letters from grown-ups too? I just received a letter from [Relative Name] and heard about your [Achievement]. Mrs Claus and I are very proud of you, my dear [Boy/Girl]. Keep it up!
There is much excitement here as we get ready to celebrate Christmas. Everybody is working super hard. It seems like Mrs Claus never stops baking. She has just put another batch of mince pies in the oven. They do smell very delicious, I must say. The reindeer are working on new flying tricks. Every year, they like to surprise me with a new trick or two. It’s loads of fun. And the elves? Well, the elves are hammering and sawing and painting around the clock. When I peeped into the workshop earlier today, I saw them putting the finishing touches on your present. You did ask for a [Present], didn’t you? I also spotted them finishing the present for [Friends Name]. I do hope you both enjoy your gifts this year.
My dear [Boy/Girl], at [Age Range] old, I am sure you are just as excited about Christmas as I am. May this festive season be jolly and filled with magic and wonder.
